Music sets the mood for joy, being responsible for well-being sensations. However, not everyone has the possibility to learn music. With MODULAND, playgrounds become modular synthesizers to raise curiosity, exploration, and connection to electronic music making.

MODULAND is a playground kit for learning electronic music. This project consists of a playground kit that creates an embodied and interactive music lesson in an urban space. Turn your playground into music by using our open-source materials. MODULAND was created by the Playful Machines that Make Music track during MIT Media Lab Berlin Workshop.
